Vogue - Tiler Peck’s Tonys Night Was a Valentino-Filled Dream

When Tiler Peck first met Valentino Garavani back in 2012, she never imagined she would be attending the Tony Awards with him one day. The ballet dancer, who is now one of the New York City Ballet’s principals, was introduced to the legendary designer while performing at the company’s annual gala where he was being honored. Handpicked to wear a custom red tutu for the occasion, Peck and Garavani became fast friends during the pre-show fittings. “We instantly clicked in the fitting room and I immediately adored his wit and charm,” she shared via email. “I will never forget at the after-party, he pulled me onto the dance floor and whispered in my ear, ‘See if you can keep up with me!’
